English Class , Poetry & Music

08.08.2017 04:06

I wrote these two poems for my english class so I thought Id share them with Yall.

English Class

Silent consent is a constant factor
Lacking giggles and child laughter
Hands are low along with heads
Everyone wants to go to bed

Wrath, Hate, Hope seeps from books
As knowledge springs at sleepy looks
Teacher reads while children stare
No barren land to compare

Tummys rumble, hunger rise
Feeling like your going to die
The clock, Tick tock, strikes 9 and 3
Finally Finally, Were Free WERE FREE!

Touch the Sky

Do you feel the waves
the crash
The mantel of the shadowed past
seeping in and out your mind
little chills go up your spine
hate and sorrow reap your will
burried in the right side hill
regrets will leave you
touch the sky
Thats what happens when you die

Such a nice contrast of emotions between your two poems, boredom and sorrow. I like them. And I guess nearly everyone can relate to being stuck in a mind-numbing classroom!
Sometimes,' said Pooh, 'the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.
